School Vote Set For Friday December 15 in Eleven Divisions
Resident electors in eleven school divisions will vote Friday December 15 on establishing a unitary division system. Education minister Hon Geo Johnson said all eleven divisions met provincial qualifications. Polls run 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. for voters resident six months or more. If passed, the single district grant schedule takes effect January 1 1968.

The Rossburn Women’s Institute met in the United Church annex on Tuesday November 7 with Mrs Moan and Mrs Snider presiding. The president read the Provincial Report. No new business. Jackpot donated by Beryl Williamson won by Mrs Radford. Next meeting is December 5 Xmas event with gifts worth at least 75c. Members donate candy for Deer Lodge. Meeting closed with Mizpah Benediction and lunch served by hosts Mrs Joiner and Mrs Armstrong.
