Jobs Fund money for ramp aids Manitoba towns
Premier Howard Pawley announced $458 677 from the Manitoba Jobs Fund for 34 rural municipal capital projects including firehall, bridge, road, sidewalk, building and sewer or water upgrades. Rossburn gets 2000 for a wheelchair ramp. Strathclair receives 5184 for demolishing a derelict building as part of a near one million dollar program yielding about twice that amount in total project value with matched contributions.
