Rossburn WI Elects Officers for 1963 at November Meeting
The Rossburn Women's Institute held its November 6 meeting in the annex at 3 00 pm to elect officers for 1963. Retiring officers were Mrs Eileen Stitt and Mrs Jessie Cormack. New officers include President Mrs Lillian McKnight and Vice Presidents Mrs Alice Lindsay and Mrs Anne McIntosh. Secretary Treasurer Mrs Gertrude Stewart Pianist Mrs Agnes Snider Programme Convenor Mrs Viola Stitt Reporter Mrs Anne McIntosh. The group promotes home and country work and donations were made to Cancer Relief and other charities.

The 34th annual meeting and banquet of the Rossburn Pool Elevator Association was held in the Rossburn Town Hall on Tuesday November 6 with 130 attendees. Officers praised district cooperation, filed reports, noted 110 000 bushels handled and a net surplus of 5048.09 dollars resulting in a 4.68 cent patronage dividend and a 3 cent per bushel dividend.
