Net proceeds from the United Church Fowl Supper totaled 206 dollars. A post supper concert featured local talent with Mrs. Willerton of Neepawa and Mrs. Hubert of Bethany assisting. Rossburn area sees several business changes and construction updates
In Rossburn, Dutchuk and Wladyka sold their locker plant to Joe Nychuk of Glen Elmo district who will take over late this month. Mike and Harry Verbowsk i bought the International Harvester agency from C A Menzies who retires after forty years. Nearby, Herb Taylor sold his dairy business to Smellie Bros. and Co. and Mike Wolanyk sold his dairy business while continuing milk and cream deliveries from Shoal Lake. New construction includes Lazaruk Brothers cafe foundation and cement work, Anton Varmey excavating for a new building, Pentecostal Church insulation siding progress, Memorial Arena improvements, and James Harlow moving part of the old flour mill to a new site, with skidding planned after the first snowfall.

Memorial Service Set For Armistice Day In Town Hall
The local Canadian Legion commits to an Armistice Day memorial at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday November 11 in the Town hall. The observance features a two minute silence at the proper time, a simple ritual led by Branch Chaplain Com R Barclay with Comrades Cieply and Alston. Poppies and wreaths will adorn the cenotaph, and ex servicemen should muster at the Legion Clubroom by 10:00 a.m. for a solemn remembrance of fallen soldiers.
