Rossburn Remembrance Day Service Observed at Town Hall

Rossburn residents will honor war dead and surviving veterans with a Remembrance Day Service at the Rossburn Town Hall on Wednesday November 11. The Rossburn Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion sponsors the ceremony set for 10 30 a m with schools offices and most businesses closed for the day.

Neepawa Teacher Named Science Teacher of the Year

Mr Bob Lepischak of Rossburn son of Mr and Mrs Peter Lepischak was named Science Teacher of the Year for 1987. He teaches at the Neepawa Area Collegiate Institute and received the SAG Conference award in Winnipeg last month. The Science Teachers Association of Manitoba awards it annually since 1982. He said everyone must be made more aware of how science affects daily life as technology grows.
