Village Council revises Rossburn rolls and hears complaints
The Village of Rossburn council met in the council chambers on Oct 18 to revise the 1988 General and Business Assessment Rolls and hear three complaints. One roll was sustained, one reduced by 50 dollars, and another reclassified from exempt to taxable. Officials discussed drainage, community service signs, street sanding, and seal coating estimates with Manitoba Highways representatives.

New Welding Workshop Planned for Rossburn Area
Larry Scott of Winnipeg will open a welding, mechanical and machine workshop at the corner of Highway 45 and Provincial Road 254 on the outskirts of Rossburn. He purchased the former Matt's Farm Service building in two sections with takeover on Oct 1. Scott and his wife moved to Rossburn with their two boys two weeks ago. renovations and stock unloading are underway as a tentative opening in two to three weeks.
