Ken Caldwell won election to the Rossburn Village Council in the Friday vote October 26. turnout was 50 per cent with 282 ballots cast of 548 eligible. Caldwell received 176 votes to Orest Smychnnik’s 105. no ballots were spoiled. the one year term begins immediately.

Two trustees re elected in Pelly Trail division
On October 24 voters in Pelly Trail School Division No. 37 returned two incumbents. Ward three sees Wilma Joyce win re election with 173 votes to 135 for Ralph Tibbatts. Ward seven elects Leonard Goletz over Tom Lachess by 17 votes, 109 to 92. Wards five and nine were by acclamation. Ward one had no nominees, with an appointment expected.
