Campbell Government Candidate Selected in Campbell Birtle- Russell
A Liberal-Progressive gathering in the new Birtle Russell constituency unanimously chose Rod Clement as their Campbell administration candidate. Clement, former Russell MLA, was born in Binsearth and served 1941 45 with the RCAF, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Force Medal. He leads F Clement & Sons and Clement’s Farm Equipment with his family in Russell. Premier Campbell opened the campaign in Birtle and speeches by M Hryhorereguk are planned in Rossburn and Horo in early June.
