The Rossburn Review weekly publication lists its office address at Victoria Ave Rossburn with publisher H. J. Bowley authorized as a second class post. Subscription rates are Canada two dollars per year and United States two dollars fifty cents per year.
The narrative recalls Rossburn early commerce with C. C. McColl and Crerar and Herchmer, first blacksmith Jas. Young, and initial burials at the hill above Bird Tail valley. It details Ross family origins from Ireland, Manitoba settlement in 1879, and descendants in Winnipeg and Alberta. The piece notes notable arrivals in 1879, threshing machine imports, and local landholders.
The Rossburn town hall hosted the May 22 session of the Boards of Trade and Chamber of Commerce with Evan McCormick outlining aims for local branches. He urged electing directors, planning a four-point program covering commercial, industrial, agricultural and civic improvement, and strengthening committees and finances through budgeting and external revenue. He also stressed cooperation with councils and service clubs, and noted broader issues like taxation and immigration affect local boards. The event was opened by Earl Moffat and welcomed by acting Mayor Ben Cormack.

Several residents return from trips to the U S A and Winnipeg while others plan work and employment. A new 3 ton truck arrives with Tom and Joe Mitchell's return to Rossburn from Red Lake Ont Excavation begins on a Main Street basement for Dr Shaver. The Manitoba Power Commission cuts the commercial energy rate to three cents per kilowatt for May.
