Treatment helps aging dogs fight Cushing's disease
Muffy Fraser, a 14 year old dog, showed signs of Cushing's disease. A new medication, Anipryl, given under veterinary care, improved her weight, coat, energy, and overall well being within weeks. The drug increases brain dopamine to normalize cortisol related symptoms and is now available in Canada through veterinarians.
