Rossburn to host first ever 4-H Rally in town
Southwest region 4-H members gather in Rossburn on Saturday June 7 for a parade at 10:30 a.m. and public displays at the Rossburn Agri-Rec Centre from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Fifteen clubs participate including Oakburn Rossburn Birtle Kenton Shoal Lake Decker McConnell Miniota Foxwarren Selsgirth Newdale Oak River Strathclair with dress reviews workshops livestock judging and family activities.

Manitoba HydroBonds Series 6 rate plan unveiled
Finance Minister Eric Stefanson announced HydroBonds Series 6 rates including a Floating Rate Bond at 3.125 percent with semiannual adjustment and semiannual redemption, a Three Year Fixed Rate Bond at 5.25 percent, and a Five Year Discount Compound Bond at 6.05 percent. Bonds sell for 74.55 per 100 and pay 100 at maturity.
