An elderly Rossburn man, 65, was charged with attempted murder after his estranged wife, 55, living on a farm 30 kilometres east of Rossburn, was beaten at about 9 am on May 10. The woman sustained extensive head, arm, and hand injuries. the husband was arrested about three hours later.
