Rossburn 4-Hers Place Second in Provincial Demonstrations
Nicole Trembath and Erin Heneghan of the Rossburn 4-H Handiworkers Club finished second in the Manitoba Provincial 4-H Demonstrations Competition held in Winnipeg. Nine teams competed sponsored by C N Rail with judges Leanne Spring Jim Feeny and Peggy Baker. Prizes included dictionaries pens pins and a Symington Yard tour.

Rain and snow delayed the 4th Annual 4-H Highway Clean-Up in Manitoba but 159 clubs raised 33,000 for 4-H activities. Volunteers collected 11,000 kg of garbage across 3,200 members and leaders, covering 1,970 kilometres. Funds support club activities and community projects.
