Rossburn RM discusses flooding, beaver control and land issues
At the Rossburn RM council meeting residents Lennard Belinski and Wayne Carson pressed for improved drainage and beaver dam removal. DNR reps Ian Ripley and Bob Woolley reviewed beaver control, Crown land issues, wood cutting, timber licenses and road damage. Manitoba Telephone System reps talked on survey monuments, cable disposal, easements and internet lines. The council considers buying SW 1/4 26-20-24W for Rossman Lake Youth Camp access at 35000 with May 15, 1996 deadline.
