Grady Johnson among Manitoba Oilmen's Hall of Fame inductees
Grady Johnson of Mission Texas is one of eight oilmen honored at the inaugural Manitoba Oilmen's Hall of Fame dinner held in Virden. Johnson, longtime Virden Drilling manager and later district petroleum engineer, noted the surprise of his selection. Inductees will be featured in the Manitoba Oil Museum with photos, bios and plaques. Deputy Premier Jim Downey and Energy and Mines Minister Darren Praznik presented the awards.
