Ukrainian Easter Dinner Served After Holy Mass
Following Holy Mass in the Ukrainian Catholic Church on Sunday May 13 a traditional Easter dinner was served in the Parish Hall. Father Olynek blessed the food. A short Mother's Day program opened by Jerry Stupinsky featured a Ukrainian dance under Mrs Antonin. Mrs M Wolanyk read In stead of a Bouquet of Flowers. Six little girls danced to close the program and flowers were given to the oldest and youngest mothers present Mrs Pokrepany and Mrs Swereda. Visitors from Camp Shilo Minned Sa and Mr and Mrs LeBlanc and Children visited Mr and Mrs Walter Armstrong on Saturday.

The Village of Rossburn council met at the municipal office with Mayor Tarl Moffat presiding and all members present. Minutes and financial report approved. Constables report given. Two Old Age Assistance apps approved. A $19 Rossburn School Scholarship grant approved. By law No 305 rectifying the supplementary scheme for reconstruction at Shoal Lake and enlargement of the hospital passed. Public works discussed. bills approved.
