Hospital plan advance prompts money by law vote

Rossburn District Hospital discussions with the Department of Health indicate a likely by law vote on a hospital extension within months. The plan would add sewerage disposal, a six bed unit expansion to twelve, new doctor facilities, nursery, kitchen, staff rooms, and major systems overhauls funded partly by government grants and a 20 year tax levy. If approved, about 60 cents per $1000 assessment yearly over 20 years funds the project.
