Mr George Walko began military training last week while Mr Mike Olyniak has returned home after army discharge. Glen Elmo defeated Valley in a local football match. Bill Bellas and Kathleen Hlagie wed in Winnipeg last week and plan to reside in the district. John Shormoski and Harry and Annie Sotas attended Mary Shormoski of Grandview’s funeral. Mrs Wm Bilanka is ill and left for Winnipeg. best wishes are sent for her recovery.
