Rossburn Village Council discusses parking and traffic changes
The Rossburn council met March 1 with Mayor Louis Kurchaba presiding. Officials from Manitoba Highways discussed diagonal versus parallel parking, U turning at Main Street intersections, Centennial Road traffic flow, and additional off street parking. By laws 641 and 644 were read and passed, the 1983 Rossburn Regional Library budget of 13488.85 was approved, and funding requests were made for the Recreation Facilities program and curling rocks and baseball pitching machine. The village thanked Rossburn Senior Citizens for 1393.01 funding toward the community centre debt. Council planned a March 10 meeting.
