A Game and Fish meeting was held in Slow's Garage on Thursday March 9 with 7 members present. A bingo is set for March 22 in the Town Hall with 20 games at 75c and extra cards 25c. The annual meeting and banquet are planned for April 11 with tickets to be sold. Sale of tickets on an airplane ride netted $25.00. Lucky ticket holders were Wm McKietiuk and Lorraine Andrew. Meeting adjourned. Happy birthday wishes go to Mrs J J Stitt on her ninety fourth birthday from the later old timers. The remainder is verse about Irish memories and flowers.

The March meeting of the Ross burn Credit Union Society was held at the Andrew residence on Monday March 13 at 8 00 p m. All directors attended. The board voted to continue temporary disability insurance and kept loan interest at 12 percent for 1961. Four new members joined this month. The Supervisory Committee reported books in order and ongoing audit of pass books. Regular meetings are set for the second Monday each month at 8 00 p m.

Vista W I Meeting Plans Bingo and Training
The Vista Women’s Institute met at Mrs N Hrysak’s home with nine members and six visitors. They planned a Bingo for March 24 and noted that Mrs N Hrysak and Mrs D Armstrong will attend Training School on March 29. Eleven dollars was sent to the March of Dimes. Mrs Kaye Luhowy of Oakburn demonstrated Home Made Noodles. Lunch was served by hosts N Hrysak and F MacPhail.
