Chegwin Wins Vista Bonspiel
Vista Curling Club hosted its Second Annual Bonspiel starting February 20 with 24 rinks. Prizes went to Wilf Chegwin James Lillie Jim Foxton Pete Wladyka Lloyd Hogberg Cam Halliday Albert Zentner Balmer Rogers Steve Waytowich Sid Prokopchuk Ken Drozda Ken Cameron and Pypka Kelloe for the biggest end. The club extends thanks to volunteers especially the ladies and the caretaker.

Manitoba Dairy Princess attends convention in Winnipeg
Miss Janice Johnston of Rossburn, Dairy Princess of Manitoba, spoke at the Manitoba Dairy Convention held February 21–23 at the Royal Alexandra Hotel. She discussed her selection, crowning, and trip to the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto. Johnston joined Minister George Hutton at a banquet, presenting trophies to Manitoba prize winners.

The Rossburn Ice Carnival is scheduled for Saturday March 18 with posters this week announcing groups for costumes and races. A special attraction includes two girls hockey teams to showcase women on skates and referee applications are arriving quickly.

Students Accepted for Second Pre University Clinic at Brandon College
Several Rossburn area students are among those accepted for participation in the second annual Pre University Clinic and Seminar at Brandon College on Friday March 10 1961. Attending from the area are Elaine Hutton Heather Gunn Helen Kozun and Ernest Baydock all of Rossburn Manitoba. The students will spend a day at the campus engaging in sessions and activities designed to prepare for university study.

Bingo proceeds totaled 107 dollars for church fundraiser
