Rehearsals underway at Rossburn Collegiate Institute for the upcoming production Young Dracula. Mrs Brown and Mr Dueck lead rehearsals with songs and dances while Mr Fleury handles backdrops. Performances set for April 13 and 14 in Rossburn Town Hall.
Staff Writer Bonnie Kostesky reports the Rossburn Lions Club and the Figure Skating Club hosted a Centennial Carnival on February 26 with the Musical Memories 1884 1984 theme. Fans enjoyed group and solo performances across years, crowned Lisa Sidoryk as Carnival Queen, plus prizes, a mothers vs 8 and under hockey game, and photo coverage on page 12.
The quilt, set up at Mrs. Frances Kostesky’s home, features stitches by numerous helpers including Mrs. Kostesky, Mrs. Rose Kostiak, Mrs. Barb Tucker, and others. Completed February 3, it will be shown at the Rossburn Arena and later in a local business. Tickets are on sale from Centennial Organizations, funded by Centennial funds and donations from Sophie Lepischak via Frances Kostesky.

Payable by mail with postage paid envelopes, avoiding personal court appearances. About 100,000 people yearly likely to pay fines by mail under streamlined process.
