The W I meeting held Tuesday March 6 in the United Church Annex gathered 16 members. The group opened with the Creed and O Canada, discussed fundraising plans, and heard a talk by Mrs. Lindsay on Laws of Interest to Women. Mrs. J. Smith won the jackpot and a dainty Irish lunch was served by Mrs. Ann McIntosh and Mrs. Eileen Stitt.

Mrs Agnes Chuhay 59 Dies in Winnipeg Heart Attack
Mrs Agnes Chuhay aged 59 died at home in Winnipeg on Saturday March 3 after a heart attack in her sleep. Funeral and burial followed at Brookside Cemetery Winnipeg on Wednesday March 7. She arrived in Canada in 1898 from Austria with her husband Mr. Chuhay and lived in Winnipeg.
