Mr Walter Derlage of Toronto returned to Toronto on Thursday after a visit with relatives here. Congratulations to Mr and Mrs J Cormack on their 30th wedding anniversary celebrated Monday February 27. Miss Ruby Armstrong fell Saturday night and broke her arm. friends wish her a speedy recovery.
Shoal Lake residents visited town including Mr. and Mrs. P Drosdoski and family and Mrs. Brown of Onanole. Birth announced for a daughter to Bob Morrison nee Leila Ament. Butter Makers Convention attended by George Heindle in Winnipeg. Minnedosa trip by Cleland Middlemass McMillan families with Cons Simpson and Jackie. Mrs W Day returned from Winnipeg. Women’s Institute thanks for March of Dimes collection amounting to 54 dollars and 74 cents with named collectors.

A church calendar lists services for St. Theresa Church Oakburn and nearby Rossburn including Catholic and Ukrainian rites. Timings show masses at 9:30 and 11:30 with varied locations Oakburn farms Rossburn town and Pentecostal services at 10:30 Sunday School 11:30 Worship and 7:30 Evangelistic, plus Friday Christ Ambassadors and a Monday Bible club.
