The Rossburn District Health Centre board launches a public drive to recruit physicians. A doctor questionnaire is distributed by board members and circulated in The Rossburn Review. Residents may respond anonymously by returning the questionnaire to the Health Centre or mailing to the board chair by June 30.
The Rossburn Community Advisory Committee and the Manitoba Hazardous Waste Management Corporation meet at Rossburn Town Hall with chair Ken Caldwell and members. They finalize site selection criteria including 200 metre buffer zones and 500 metre lake boundaries, discuss wind direction data, mapping plans, and future Dr Yassi meetings, with MHWMC funding costs.
Cloudy conditions move in today with a 30 to 40 percent rain chance and warm temperatures. Cooler air follows to western Manitoba on Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the low 20s and a much lower rain risk.
