A Manitoba class field trip on Friday June 5 took two groups by bus to Souris. Students visited an aging bridge, the Chocolate Cafe, a bird sanctuary, an ancient oak over 500 years old, the Hi Museum, a rock shop, and Irwin's Ice Cream in Hamiota.
The Rossburn Review reports a June 4 opening of Misfit Lit a comic show at Plug In Gallery Winnipeg running through June. Mrs Cassie Kachan of Brandon visited Rossburn area with relatives while out of province guests attended the 50th anniversary for Mr and Mrs Adolph Kostesky from Cranbrook Cranbrook and other relatives from Calgary Thunder Bay Esterhazy Yorkton and Edmonton celebrated various events.
Rossburn and Mr and Mrs A Kostesky mark their 50th anniversary with attendance by Mr and Mrs Kostesky, while Nick Shirley Kalyniuk and their daughters visit Jeff and Joan in Nipawin Sask. Otto Emma Elvers travel to Winnipeg for a wedding to Michelle Elvers and Sean Crick and visit Nancy Andrew and Jean Bell.
