Local residents hosted visitors from Emo Ontario Thunder Bay Barwick Ontario and Winnipeg while Mr and Mrs John Cormack departed for a three to four week holiday to Winnipeg Victoria and Vancouver. Funeral held for Sandra Ann Cooke at Lizard Point Reserve
Sandra Ann Cooke, 10, died June 8 at Russell Hospital after illness. Funeral services were held June 12 at Waywayseecappo Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Brian Penny. She is survived by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Donald Cooke and three sisters. Various relatives and friends from Winnipeg Rossburn Flin Flon and other communities sent sympathy.
