Five Big Spruce Trees Line Angusville sidewalk to Credit Union
Community notes highlight evergreen decorating as Angusville plants five tall spruce trees along the east sidewalk from the municipal office to the credit union for Christmas. Ann Gallant enjoyed a Winnipeg weekend attending Fiddler on the Roof at Centennial Concert Hall and a bridal shower for Cindy Siwak and a birthday supper for Margaret McKay. Ernie and Margaret Choptuik returned from Phoenix with stories of a dry winter and planning a summer on their Lac Du Bonnet log home, while well wishes go to local farmers for seeding and optimistic grain prices. The piece ends with a note on dandelions as liver-friendly greens and a caution against sprayed plants.
