Rossburn Collegiate hosted a Folklorama featuring grades nine to twelve presenting eight countries France Germany Italy Greece Switzerland Mexico Ukraine and Hawaii. Displays showcased traditional dress and country backgrounds while students sold ethnic foods to sample.

Manitoba Sets Stage For MTS Share Sale Legislation

MPI proposes 4.1 percent autopac rise for 1997
Manitoba Public Insurance seeks a 4.1 percent overall premium revenue increase effective March 1 1997 with 31 percent of customers seeing a decrease and 20 percent an increase of under $20. The plan shifts more claims costs to drivers through higher deductibles surcharges and license fees while the autopac rate stabilization reserve is rebuilt.
