An organizational meeting of Rossburn business was held at the Credit Union board room on Friday July 26 at 7 30 P M to form a businessman's association to promote the town set guidelines on store hours and advertise as a unit Garry Archer was elected Chairman Lorne McLarty Vice Chairman and Ernie Antonew Secretary Treasurer The group plans a constitution and membership schedule and promotes August 16 sales during Parkland Harvest Festival with shops open 9 00 A M to 6 00 P M next meeting is August 27 at 7 30 P M in the Credit Union room accompanying plan to publicize in the Rossburn Review and Westman papers and seek an extra doctor by letter to the Hospital Board

Baling Mishap Claims Life of Local Farmer
The Rossburn RCMP report that 78 year old John Skomorowski died in a farming accident while baling on his farm about 14 miles northwest of Rossburn on Thursday July 24. Police attended the scene and investigated the incident.

Rossburn council seeks action on park issues drought relief
