Exchange trip enjoyed by local 4 H members
On July 4 a group of 344 4 H members and two chaperones left by bus for Winnipeg but were delayed and missed their plane. They stayed an extra day, then flew to Montreal and Quebec City, arriving in L Isle Verte where they met their host families. Activities included a dance, bonfire, and a Jersey farm picnic before returning.

Growth tax payments flow to municipalities and bands
Municipalities, Indian Bands and Unorganized Territories will receive 19,343,537 by end of July from growth taxes in personal and corporate income tax. Allocation runs 2.2 points of personal tax and one point of corporate tax. Craik notes grants down from 21,972,530 last year due to lower revenues and prior overestimates. R Zimmerman of Brandon led the dedication talk outlining worship goals and outreach. The hall at Elen Street invites public talks at 10:00 am Sundays, 11:00 am Watch Tower Study, 7:30 pm Thursdays Theocratic School, and 8:30 pm Service Meeting.
