Channel 5 Antenna Relocated To New Brandon Tower
CKX TV transfers its channel 5 antenna from the 34th and Richmond corner in Brandon to a new site in Brandon Hills twelve miles south. The move raises height to 1340 feet making CKX reach over 200000 residents across western Manitoba and eastern Saskatchewan. Channel 5 will be off air during installation while Channel 4 broadcasts local and network programs and Channel 11 remains off air until completion. Viewers in Melita and Birtle Foxwarren regions can watch on Channel 9, with Channel 4 daily programming interrupted during the lift and adjustments.
