Rossburn hosts its 56th annual Summer Fair and Sports Day next Tuesday with senior baseball four teams, Strathclair, Angusville, four Little League and Midget tournaments, and Wonder Shows from Winnipeg. Final at 6 30 pm. Prize lists and entry notices available from Secretary Elmer Brown.

Michael Leschyshyn Jr. of Detroit Michigan died at 63 on June 30 at his mother's home in Marco. Survived by his mother Anastasia and seven brothers and six sisters including John and Peter Rossburn Bill and Henry Detroit Alex Dauphin Matt Provost Stan Birtle Marie Marsden Anne Nell Grandview Tinnie Elsie Windsor The funeral was July 3 at Rossburn Parish Hall with Father Lehky officiating. Interment at Ukr Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers named Mervin Trakalo Delmar Kukurudz Raymond Yurey Jerry Stebel eski Rodney Norman Rae's Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Rossburn UWC Holds July Regular Meeting
The Rossburn United Church Women met in the church annex for July. Devotionals led by Mrs. N Taylor and Mrs. M Armstrong followed by a Hymn 520. Members discussed Brazil study, hospital cards, August workshop plans for Rivers and Minnedosa, and upcoming presbytery in Decker. They approved pay for Ronald Hamilton on the manse labor and scheduled August church chores with volunteers welcome.

The Rossburn Consolidated School Board previews the 1965 66 term with new reading facilities from Moorhead Minnesota and the Scientific Research Association Reading Laboratory.
