Muriel Alexander of Winnipeg spent the weekend with Mr and Mrs R J Alexander. Mrs H Miller left Sunday to visit Mr and Mrs F Plant at Brandon. The long weekend saw many relatives visiting, including Geraldton Ontario visitors with the Kiem, Tapthorn, Hal s and Muenkin families. Max w ell and Maxwell relatives hosted and visited in Grandview, Clear Lake, and Regina vicinity. Coming events include a cancelled July 8 service in Rossburn and a July 15 bingo at Fishing Lake with donations, 75 cents for 15 games and 25 cents for extra cards.

Christen ing Louise Marion at new St Jude's Church
Louise Marion Usick, infant daughter of Mr and Mrs Rudolph Usick, was christened on Sunday July 3 at the new St Jude's R C church with Father Joseph Suroviak officiating. Godparents were Mrs Peter Slobod ian and Dr J S Swanson. After the ceremony, dinner for 35 relatives from Windsor Gimli Oakburn Newdale and Erickson was served at the Usick farm.
