Missing cattle reported in Rossburn area complaint opened
A report of 40 cattle missing from the R M of Rossburn was received by Rossburn RCMP on June 29 and is under investigation. Other recent calls include a wallet theft in Vista, family dispute assistance on the Lizard Point Reserve, intoxicated persons on the reserve, obscene phone calls in Rossburn, a fraud inquiry in Rossburn, a cottage break in at Silver Beach, and a mischief and drinking incident at Arrowhead.

The Rossburn Collegiate graduation June 29 featured Master of Ceremonies H Smith. Greetings by Mrs. Joan Clement Morley Kostecky and Reeve John Mitchell. valedictory by Jacqueline Melnyk. Guest speaker address by Mr Jack Huggins. Darlene Zurbyk gave the vote of thanks. Multiple awards and bursaries were presented to graduates including Jewel Hrubeniuk Bev Lonsdale Jason McFeeters Jacquie Melnyk Colette Olyarnyk Sherri Zegalski Adrienne Clowes Sandy Luhowy Rob Melnyk Cheryl Joiner Christine Bohach and others. Diplomas were presented by Leonard Goletz and Nick Kalyniuk, lunch followed.
