Operation Appreciated Helps Small Town Hockey

Funeral services were held for Michael Koroway aged 42 from the Grandview Ukrainian Catholic church on Monday January 20 at 10 00 a m He died suddenly January 16 in the Pleasant Valley district where he farmed and ran a general store He was born in Rossburn Manitoba and educated there and in Angusville He moved to Grandview in 1947 served on the district school board later ran a store and farmed He married Carrie Kozakowski in 1940 and leaves their daughter Lollie his parents Mr and Mrs Alex Koroway a brother Matt and a sister Mrs William Annie Kutch all of Grandview Burial followed at Grandview Parish Cemetery with J Holowaty officiating Pallbearers were M McCasin J Orr S Ewanshyn Fisher F Korzakowski and M Mushamanski, Sneath Funeral Home handled arrangements.
