Voters to Decide On Fire Hall and Rest Room By-Law
On Friday February 14 voters in the Village of Rossburn will decide a by law to raise twenty thousand dollars for a fire hall and rest room. The measure aims to provide adequate fire protection after three years of study and public meetings, with anticipated costs under 90 cents per month per home and potential absorption into the current mill rate.

Rossburn Shoal Lake ABs defeated Minnedosa ABs 8 to 3 in the first game of a two game total series on Tuesday February 4. About 200 fans witnessed a 2 1 lead after the first period, extending to 4 1 by the second and four more goals in the third. Kowal, Carrick, Pushka and Kawa led the home attack with unassisted goals and late scoring chances sealed the win.
