Manitoba naturalist Gerry Malaher, a Forest Service veteran since 1930 and former director of Game and Fisheries, receives the Order of the Buffalo Hunt from Premier Sterling Lyon for lifelong provincial service. He helped found the Manitoba Museum of Man and Nature and Manitoba Zoological Society and is honorary president of the Manitoba Naturalists Society. Mrs Malaher stands with the inductee.
