Sandy Lake School Board Annual Meeting Reviewed
The Sandy Lake School District held its annual meeting at the Ukrainian Peoples Home. Fred Mushie chaired with Tony Yaworsky as secretary. Joan Lewandosky delivered the chair's remarks. Dan Bachewich presented the auditors report. The board discussed educational films for public showing. Mike Panchuk was reelected to the School Board and Tony Yaworsky was appointed to replace George Semennik. Dan Bachewich was reelected auditor for another year.

Erickson Calf Club Meeting Examines Minutes and Plans
The Erickson Calf Club met January 7. Secretary read the previous minutes and members adopted them. A letter from the Sewing Club inviting them to a January 20 social was approved. The next meeting was set for February 4 and the group adjourned.
Federated Co-ops Hold Saskatoon Annual Meeting
Federated Co-operatives Limited gathered 145 delegates January 17 to 19 at the Bessborough Hotel Saskatoon for the first meeting since amalgamation in 1955. The newly united body covers Alberta to the Head of the Lakes with over 500 co-ops and 150000 members. The board reported 1985 sales above 40 million dollars, up 109 percent, with savings over 1.5 million dollars, up 26 percent.
