Funeral Rites for John Henry Angus Held

John Henry Angus age 52 of Angusville died December 1959 in Deer Lodge Hospital Winnipeg died December 2 1959. He served in the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders overseas 1941 44 and married Dorothy Mair in Winnipeg October 6 1945. Survived by wife four children three sons aged 13 12 10 and daughter 3, siblings and many relatives. Military funeral held at Bardal's with service by S McKay of MacLean's United Church. Burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Death of Mike Pomehichuk in Rossburn

Mike Pomehichuk aged 58 died December 27 at Rossburn Hospital. He was born in Canada in 1901 and lived in Rossburn district. Funeral December 30 at Ukrainian Greek Catholic church with Rev. Lehky officiating. He was brought to the Parish Hall December 29 for prayers. Pallbearers included son William and nephews Mike Peter Matt Pradeniuk Peter Pradhniuk Mike Kurchaba. Survived by three sons Harry Matt William, one daughter Tennie, sister Tennie Pradinuk of Rossburn, and brother Peter of Rose Valley Sask.
