CN discusses grain transport at Erickson farmers meeting
About 40 Erickson area farmers attended CN's information meeting at the District Recreation Centre on February 22 to learn about prairie branch line consolidation and 1989 plans. Doug Duncan, CN regional manager, described expenditures and changes to cut grain shipping costs and answered farmers questions in a frank forum. This marks CN's fifth year of grain transportation information meetings, with 20 planned this year across Western Canada.
