Rossburn Venturer Awards Given At Winnipeg Dinner
A Rossburn delegation of 131 attended the Baden Powell Awards Dinner at the Holiday Inn in Winnipeg where a 10 year Service Pin and four Queen's Venturer Awards were presented by David Piris. Ken Ament Delmer Heindie Randy Komhyr and Darryl Michalchuk were honoured as Manitoba's only Venturers to receive the Queen's Venturer Award for 1975. Lyle Kier is noted as a non recipient who would have earned the award. the Rossburn Venturer Company credits continued Scouting involvement and leadership.
