Prizes were won by Mrs. Armstrong and Mrs. Joiner, with Mrs. Cormack donating the jackpot. Guest Nona Peden marked her 84th birthday. The next meeting will be March 4 at Mrs. Williamson's home.

The first Hospital Auxiliary meeting of 1969 was held January 28 at Mrs. Anne Slow's home with eighteen members present. Minutes were read and adopted, the financial report showed $297.25 in the current account and $228.00 on hand including profits from the November Bazaar and Tea and the December Christmas dinner. The Curling Bonspiel expenses were discussed. the event was a success. Hostess prize went to Mrs. McIntosh. Next meeting is February 25 at Vi McKieltuk's home with Marianne Frieze giving a Beauty Demonstration.

Guest speaker Ron Kinney of Dauphin urged regional development and likened towns to businesses while noting citizen involvement. A cheese factory milestone and Christmas lighting honors were also featured as new president Bob Pritchard took the chair.
