Rossburn defeated Inglis 6-1 Tuesday evening to advance in the MAHA playoffs. Heindle opened the scoring from Steve Strank at 6 56, with Hamilton and Mitchell scoring early second. Hamilton added a second goal, Mentuck finished a pass from Heinle, and Heindle finaled at 11 02. Waddel credited Inglis' lone goal at 5 01 of the third.

Inglis Scores 7-6 Win Over Rossburn In Weekend Hockey
Rossburn trailed 2-0 early but tied 2-2 after the first period. Inglis built a 6-4 lead in the second with goals from Wadell Haberstock Packer Werschler and Genaille. Rural municipality meeting discusses petitions and grants
The Rossburn Rural Municipality council reads and adopts minutes and financial reports for 1957 and January 1958. It instructs petitions to the Dominion Government for a highway across the National Riding Mountain Park and to support Rossburn’s request. Grants of 100 dollars are approved for Rossburn and District Park boundary road and for the Rossburn Agricultural Society. A delegation from southern and northern areas seeks FPA benefits. a three member council delegation will visit Regina. Reeve Ed Shust is re elected to the Shoal Lake Hospital District board for three years. Tax sale set for April 20, 1958 at 2 PM. Bills are paid. Council adjourns to March 8, 1958.

Playoff Hockey Action Continues With Weekend Games
The Bantam ABs face Swan River Saturday at 8 00 pm in a return match after their trip north Wednesday for the first game of the total goal series. The Bantam ABs swept Minnedosa in the series. Intermediates finish first round and meet Foxwarren in the second round with games at Rossburn Thursday and Birtle Saturday. The third game, if needed, will be in the town drawing the biggest crowd.
