Telephone Projects Near Completion in Rossburn and Oakburn
The Manitoba Telephone System advances two upgrades in Rossburn and Oakburn to improve local service and long distance capacity. Tea and Bake Sale Announces Winners and Thanks
A successful Tea and Bake Sale was held on Saturday December 10. Winners of the raffle were Rose Stefanuk for 1st Christmas Package Shaun Guilder for 2nd Christmas Cake and Stacey Kalyniuk for 3rd Crochet Mouse bookmark ers. The Parents Committee thanks all who attended and the mothers who donated baking and helped. Cubs Gary Glushka and Danny Kalyniuk sold raffle tickets. The Scouting Movement lists eight Cubs nine Scouts and nine Venturers involved in fall projects.

Further Donations To Recreation Commission Project
The Ice Machine Fund has grown this week with many donations and social and intellectual support. The club year totals 473 members with major purchases including a Gestetner Crest Coffee maker a PA System and the 1977 CB Call Book. On November 26 1977 about 70 CB ers met at Foxwarren School Auditorium for the Annual Meeting with Constable Fein answering CB usage questions and Eileen Heap winning a door prize external speaker. Elections were held with several members re elected for a one year term.
