Russell hosts Northwest Women's Institute seminar
About 80 women attended the Northwest Region Women's Institute Seminar in Russell on October 27. Locals from Dauphin, Duck Mountain, Pleasant Valley, Birdtail, Silverton, Russell and visitors from Saskatchewan shared talks on life, money management, and the theme rising to life’s challenges. A Dutch culture segment, local music, a noon luncheon, and demonstrations on crafts and wreaths rounded out the day with coffee and fellowship.
