Rossburn WI Elect Officers For 1968
Mrs Olive McTavish gave the financial report and the group discussed March of Dimes and Cancer Research. They voted a ten dollar six cent donation to the Children’s Aid Society at Brandon. Officers for 1968 will be elected with Mrs Wilson Stitt bringing the next jackpot. Members exchanged Xmas gifts and donated candy boxes to Deer Lodge Hospital. An executive meeting is set for Dec 14 at 2 30 pm at Mrs Williamson’s to plan 1968 programs. The next Institute is Jan 9 in the Annex at 3 pm. The Vista members are invited to attend and all are welcome. The meeting closed with the Mizpah Benediction followed by a pot luck lunch.

Deer Head Competition Judging Results
The Deer Head Competition judged by Rossburn Game and Fish Association on Wednesday was led by Russell Tanasychuk with 149.0 points, followed by Wray Palmer at 147.4. Seven heads competed, with Bill Bonechuk 3rd, Frank Fiarchuk 4th, and Harold Sion 5th. trophy presentation will occur later.
