Sacred Heart Parish Annual Bazaar in Rossburn
The Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Parish in Rossburn held its annual bazaar at the Town Hall on Friday November 23. Activities included Bingo, Lucky Wheel, dancing to the Rhythm Ramblers, and lunch served by ladies. Seventeen prize tickets were drawn with gifts ranging from chenille bedspreads to cookware and cash. many donations from parishioners followed.

Funeral Rites for Sam Trakalo R M Councillor
Funeral services were held at Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church for Sam Trakalo who died at Misericordia Hospital Winnipeg on Sunday November 25. He served as a rural councilor for Ward Three starting in 1948, survived by his wife Teenie two sons Mervyn and Ernest a daughter Lydia and several siblings. A large crowd attended as priests from Rossburn Fisher Branch and Oakburn conducted the rites with pallbearers and honorary pallbearers named.
