The Rossburn Hospital Auxiliary met at Mrs. Isbel Huston’s home. President Jean Lawless led with the Lord’s Prayer as members exchanged Christmas gifts. They approved water sets for the hospital and raffled a walking doll with tickets from members. Officers chosen for the coming year include Violet Mc Kietiyk as President Joyce Stewart as Vice President Lois Melnyk as Sec Treas. a Mizpah Benediction closed the meeting.

Sudden Death of William H. Brown Shocks Rossburn
William H. Brown born 1886 in Rossburn died suddenly at Rossburn Hospital on Thursday evening November 26. He married Helen Halliday in 1916 and lived in Rossburn since 1934. Survived by three sons and three daughters, 22 grandchildren, two sisters and multiple in laws. Funeral held at United Church with Rev. Fulford officiating. Rae's Funeral Home handled arrangements with interment in Rossburn Cemetery.

Pelly Trail Teachers Host Guidance Workshop Nov 14 1964
The Pelly Trail Teachers Association held a Guidance Workshop at Rossburn Collegiate on Saturday November 14 1964 with over 100 attendees including teachers trustees and Home and School representatives. Sessions covered the role of guidance interviewing students testing mental health and group guidance with consultants from Winnipeg Dakota College and Dauphin. The day showcased the importance of guidance in the school programme and was deemed well spent.

Funeral held for H Miller in Kelowna area
H Miller of Rossburn and Mrs R Alexander were among the mourners at a funeral service at Evangel Tabernacle. The burial followed at Kelowna Cemetery after services. one brother had died in 1958 and the family includes 18 grandchildren.
