Hunters Calendar for Manitoba Southern Region
The schedule lists hunting dates for southern Manitoba. Waterfowl opens September 27 at noon, goose areas open September 28 morning only, upland game opens October 4, and upland season closes in the southwest on October 14 with further closures on November 6. Deer seasons begin November 18 in fringe areas, November 25 for regular deer, and close November 30. Ptarmigan seasons run November 18 to December 31, with moose seasons for Cedar Lake opening September 20 and closing October 19, and resident only moose in Interlake, Duck Mountain and southeast Manitoba from December 2 to December 7.
